KENNEWICK, Wash. – The Kennewick Flower Shop is hosting a bake sale with a sweet purpose.
Elijah Family Homes is raising funds to support addiction recovery in the community.
Lisa Godwin from Elijah Family Homes shared that the bake sale features treats from Frost Me Sweet Bakery, Yoke’s, and community volunteers. Treats include pie squares, sugar cookies, chocolate chip cookies, and more.
“It’s going to go into our general fund so that we’re able to help more individuals in our community who are struggling with addiction recovery,” Godwin said.
The bake sale is taking place at the Kennewick Flower Shop, which offers more than just baked goods. The shop also features a coffee shop, teddy bears, tchotchkes, sweets, potted plants, and floral arrangements. It’s a convenient spot for those looking to pick up Valentine’s Day gifts while supporting a local cause.
Elijah Family Homes recently moved to a new location at 921 South Auburn. This move aims to enhance their ability to provide services for those in need of addiction recovery.
