Security footage shows a drunk man driving a forklift in the middle of the street – with a bottle of whiskey in his hand.
North Wales Police released the footage, taken in Colwyn Bay, whereby the male decided to take the vehicle without the owner’s consent and go for a drive – right in front of two officers on shift.
He can be seen driving around the nearly empty streets at around 2am on September 16, 2025. September 2025.
The male was stopped shortly after by officers and arrested for taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent and failing to provide a roadside specimen for analysis.
Upon searching the male, he was found to be in a possession of a bladed article – for which he was also arrested.
The Male was later interviewed at St Asaph Custody and charged for the above offenses – and he pled guilty in court.
He received a suspended sentence order, unpaid work requirement, alcohol abstinence requirement, rehabilitation activity requirement and has been disqualified from driving for 48 months.
