TRI-CITIES, WA – The Columbians Drum & Bugle Corps is bringing back Drums Along the Columbia, a family-friendly event showcasing award-winning drum corps and local youth talent.
The event will feature performances from the Santa Clara Vanguard, Columbians and Gems, with local groups Bram Brata and students from the Columbians Experience also taking the stage.
“Drums Along the Columbia provides a unique opportunity for families, students and music fans to enjoy the unforgettable sound and pageantry of drum corps. It’s a summer tradition we are proud to host in the Tri-Cities,” Dillon Miller, Executive Director of the Columbia Basin Performing Arts, said.
This event is part of the Drum Corps International 2025 Summer Tour.
The Columbians Experience invites incoming 7th-12th graders to learn about drum corps, offering hands-on activities from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Lampson Field. Participants will get a chance to play instruments, learn to march, spin flags and perform in a pre-show event.
The main event begins at 7:00 p.m. on June 30, 2025, at Neil F. Lampson Stadium in Kennewick, WA. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
