
RICHLAND, Wash. – DermaHealth Dermatology & Dermasurgery is offering free skin cancer screenings to the Tri-Cities community on Fri., March 21 at its clinic.
DermaHealth staff will perform quick and painless screenings to everyone that attends from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Insurance is not required.
“Early detection is the cornerstone of successful skin cancer treatment,” said Dr. Sidney B. Smith. “Offering these free skin cancer screenings at DermaHealth Dermatology is our way of ensuring everyone in the Tri-Cities community has the chance to prioritize their skin cancer prevention.”
DermaHealth notes that skin cancer is the most common cancer worldwide and that more Americans are diagnosed with skin cancer annually than all other cancers combined. Early melanoma detection results in a 99 percent five-year survival rate.
Appointments are recommended and can be made by calling 509-783-2004. Walk-ins will be accommodated as space allows.
