According to KPD, a patrol car crashed at 27th Avenue and Highway 395 while responding to the deadly crash.
The Washington State Patrol is currently investigating the incident.
Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in this crash.
Roadways are all open.

The Kennewick Police Department Traffic Unit said the crash turned deadly.
Officers are currently on the scene, and the roadway remains closed to traffic.

Canyon Lakes Dr. has been closed from S Tweedt St. to W Hildebrand Blvd.
Authorities are advising the public to avoid the area as access is restricted for both people and vehicles.
