PASCO, Wash. – The City of Pasco has appointed Dave Zabell as the Interim City Manager, effective February 1.

Zabell is a well-known figure at City Hall, having previously led Pasco for nearly a decade before retiring in 2022.

Mayor Pete Serrano emphasized the importance of this appointment, stating, “The move was made to ensure continuity of service and stability during a time of transition for the city.”

During Zabell’s interim tenure, the Pasco City Council will determine the process for hiring a permanent City Manager after the council approved the early release of city manager Adam Lincoln following his announcement to depart to the Port of Pasco.

The City Manager serves as Pasco’s top executive officer, working under the direction of the City Council to ensure that city services align with council policies and directives.
