
Connell, WA – A single-vehicle accident in Connell left four people injured after a vehicle lost control and rolled multiple times early Sunday morning, according to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol.
The incident occurred on State Route 395 at mile post 55, within the Connell city limits. The vehicle, a white 2000 Chevy Blazer, was traveling southbound when it lost control, left the roadway and rolled up an embankment.
The cause of the accident was determined to be excessive speed for the conditions. No drugs or alcohol were involved.
The driver, whose name has been withheld, along with three passengers, were all injured. All individuals were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
Two of the injured passengers, Boden Duffield and Dallas Mejia, both 18 and from West Richland, WA, were transported to Kadlec Regional Medical Center.
The other two injured individuals, whose names have been withheld, were also taken to medical facilities. One was transported to Kadlec Regional Medical Center, and the other to Harborview Medical Center.
Charges related to the incident are pending. The vehicle was totaled and removed by Mesa Crossroads Towing.
