Registration for the 5th Annual Veterans Community Golf Classic is now open!
Columbia Basin Veterans Center hosts this fundraiser to fund programs and resources for local veterans. New Executive Director, Kristopher Dahir said unlike like a VA, Columbia Basin Veterans Center is a nonprofit. This means they have to do their own fundraising to provide services to veterans.
“For us to do all these things for veterans, we actually need your help,” said Dahir. “We need to be able to walk forward together linking arms.”
The Veterans Community Golf Classic hosts 144 golfers, with a few more spots open for people looking to participate. Even if you aren’t a golfer, CBVC is looking for businesses to sponsor the event as well.
