ZILLAH, WA – The City of Zillah will celebrate the grand opening of its first dog park with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
City Administrator Michael Grayum expressed enthusiasm about the new park, stating, “The opening of our off-leash Bark Park reflects our commitment to fostering a vibrant and active community.”
After the ceremony at Loges Park on Saturday, March 29, 2025, the city and the Humane Society will offer low-cost vaccination and microchipping services for dogs at Stewart Park, just a half mile away.
These services will be available through a drive-through clinic, ensuring comfort for pets and convenience for owners.
Zillah residents can also receive a free annual dog license for up to three dogs, provided the dogs are at least six months old and have current rabies vaccination documentation.
