YAKIMA, Wash.–For the third year in a row, the City of Yakima received the “Best Tasting Water” title at the 2025 Central Washington Best Tasting Water contest Wednesday.
Yakima’s water competed against Richland, Walla Walla, College Place and the Nob Hill Water Association, according to the City of Yakima.
The city will now advance to the Pacific Northwest American Water Works Association competition in May in Boise, according to the city. The winner will compete in the national conference in Denver during the summer.
