City of Richland to seek feedback on the future of off-street parking

RICHLAND, Wash. – The City of Richland is reviewing off-street parking requirements to support a vibrant downtown for residents, businesses and visitors.

Public parking in Central Richland is available at various locations, such as lots on Jadwin Avenue, George Washington Way and Lee Blvd, but recent state legislation is driving reforms to support affordable housing, urban growth and sustainability.

A virtual public meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 26 at 6:00 p.m. to explore the future of parking in Central Richland.

The event, part of the Parking Reform Project, attempts to gather input rather than propose specific changes.

The meeting will include a presentation from the city’s consultant on off-street parking and an interactive session for community feedback.

Access to the meeting can be found here.
