RICHLAND, Wash. – The Richland Parks and Recreation Commission is offering up to $40,000 in matching grants this year for park improvements.
These funds are available to eligible applicants aiming to enhance city parks, trails, open spaces, or recreational facilities.
The program’s goal is to improve public park and recreational opportunities, encourage private investment, and enhance the quality of life in Richland.
Interested applicants must attend a mandatory pre-application meeting by scheduling a 15-minute appointment for project review and application tips by March 17, 2025. To schedule, call 509-942-7463.
Applications must be submitted by the close of business on March 20, 2025. A mandatory oral presentation will take place at the Parks and Recreation Commission meeting on March 27, 2025.
