City of Pasco to honor Hispanic contributions with month-long celebrations

PASCO, Wash. – The City of Pasco is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 through October 15, 2025, as proclaimed by the city council.

This period honors the contributions of Hispanic Americans who have played pivotal roles in shaping the nation.

The theme is “Collective Heritage: Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future,” which emphasizes the innovation, resilience and unity of the Hispanic community.

The proclamation was read by Councilmember Leo Perales in English and by Councilmember Blanche Barajas in Spanish.

The city council encouraged residents to participate in the celebrations and appreciate the rich cultural heritage of Hispanic Americans.
