
PASCO, Wash. – Pasco’s annual Grand Old 4th of July Celebration is back with a lineup of family-friendly events.
The festivities kick off with a riverfront bike ride on Saturday, June 28, starting at 8:00 a.m. at Riverview Park.
Participants can enjoy a free ride along the riverfront trail, with refreshments and door prizes at the finish.
On Friday, July 4, the celebration begins at 7:00 a.m. with a Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast at Memorial Park. The day continues with a Kids Street Dance at 9:15 a.m. and the Grand Old 4th of July Parade at 10:00 a.m., starting from City Hall.
Afternoon activities include the Camp Patriot Show & Shine Car Show and free wet/dry inflatables at Memorial Park. The City of Pasco Cardboard Regatta kicks off at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Aquatic Park, followed by a free swim event, Red, White & Swim, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
The evening features the Battle of the Bands at Gesa Stadium, with gates opening at 6:30 p.m. The fireworks show will light up the sky at 10:00 p.m. Personal use of aerial fireworks is prohibited in Pasco.
