
RICHLAND, Wash. – A student from Carmichael Middle School was arrested on Tuesday, May 27, after making threatening statements and displaying a photo of a gun, the Richland Police Department (RPD) said in a release.
RPD said officers responded to a report of a student showing a large amount of cash and expressing intentions to purchase a weapon to harm individuals who owed him money.
Police made contact with the student at home, leading to the arrest. All involved students and families have been notified, RPD added in the release.
