KENNEWICK, Wash.- Pizza Speedway is a new restaurant bringing convenience to the pizza market. Owner of Pizza Speedway, Chuck Sleater, said they stay true to their speedy name. “You can drive right up to the drive-thru, place your order and we can have it out the door in about three-minutes,” said Sleater.
Pizza Speedway also offers energy drinks, a menu item Sleater has perfected through his ownership of the Lil Firehouse Coffee stands around town. “We started serving pizza in the coffee shop just to try it out and then I go the copyrights to the name Pizza Speedway,” said Sleater.
In addition to convenience, Pizza Speedway works to keep everything on the menu affordable. “We call the large pizza a minimum wage pizza, so even the minimum wage worker can afford it,” said Sleater. “Minimum wage is $16.66 right now, and it’s $17 for a large pizza.”
