Burger King’s iconic ‘Whopper’ is receiving its first makeover in nearly a decade, following customer feedback. The fast-food chain has announced changes to the bun, mayonnaise and packaging.
The ‘Whopper’ will now feature a premium bun and creamier mayonnaise. Additionally, it will be served in a clamshell box instead of the previous paper wrapping.
These updates are in response to years of complaints about burgers becoming smashed and falling apart.
The newly revamped ‘Whopper’ is being introduced this week across more than 7,000 restaurants nationwide.
