FINLEY, Wash. – Crews with Benton County Fire District 1 (BCFD1) responded to a brush fire near S. Meals Rd. and S. Ayers Rd., south of Finley this afternoon.
The fire, initially reported at 4:12 p.m., spread over 15 acres before it was contained, BCFD1 said in a release.
No homes or infrastructure were threatened. A small crew remained on site for about an hour to mop up hot spots.
