HANFORD, Wash. – Hanford has appointed Brian Harkins as the acting site manager, the Hanford Site said in a release.
Harkins, who brings over 30 years of experience in safety and site operations, expressed his enthusiasm for the role.
“I’m honored to serve as acting site manager, leading our Hanford team at such an exciting time as we advance toward stabilizing tank waste in glass later this year,” said Harkins.
The leadership change follows the announcement of Brian Vance, Hanford Field Office manager, who resigned effective April 24, 2025.
Additionally, Deputy Manager Brian Stickney has announced his retirement plans by the end of 2025.
