KENNEWICK, Wash.–Fourth and fifth graders from multiple Kennewick elementary schools will complete in the Three Rivers Battle of the Books next week.
Students will answer book-based questions as a team to demonstrate comprehension and their love for reading, according to the Kennewick School District. All questions are based on books nominated for the Washington Washington Children’s Choice Picture Book Award.
The competition will be at 6:30 p.m. March 13 at Kamiakin High School and is a good opportunity to celebrate the students’ hard work, according to KSD.
