
RICHLAND, Wash. – Benton County Mosquito Control is set to conduct an aerial larvicide operation near Snively Road and Fox Island in West Richland, and the Chamna Natural Preserve in Richland on Wednesday.
Flight operations are planned to begin at 12:30 p.m. and are expected to conclude by 3:30 p.m. The operation aims to target mosquito larvae in water using VectoBac GS, a granular product that will not drift from the target site.
Officials have stated that the applications will not be made over residential areas.
