West Richland City Council to fill Position No. 6 at special meeting

WEST RICHLAND, Wash. – The West Richland City Council will hold a special meeting on February 24 to conduct interviews and appoint a new member to Council Position No. 6.

The meeting will begin with roll call, followed by interviews with candidates Dan Richey, Luis Ojeda, Nancy Aldrich and Chad Utecht.

Interview times are set to start at 5:35 p.m. and will proceed in 15-minute intervals, though adjustments may be made if interviews conclude early.

The council will then enter an executive session to evaluate the qualifications of the candidates, which will last for 20 minutes.

Following the executive session, council members will nominate and vote to appoint a candidate to fill Position No. 6.

The term for the appointed council member will expire when the general election is certified in November 2027.
