NATIONWIDE — More than 4,000 people have joined lawsuits against the makers of GLP1 weight-loss drugs like Ozempic and Waygobee, according to USA Today.

These plaintiffs claim the medications have caused health issues such as intestinal blockages and blindness.

The drug companies insist the medications are safe, stating that any risks are listed in the FDA-approved labels.

This legal action comes as more Americans use these drugs, initially designed for diabetes, for weight loss.
