
BUTTE, Mont. – The Butte-Silver Bow Fire Department responded to a structure fire at the 2600 block of Amherst Avenue.
The department said it responded to the fire at 3:33 on Tuesday alongside the Race Track Volunteer Fire Department.
They arrived at a single-story home, which was on fire. Firefighters started their attack and searched the house to make sure everyone had gotten out safely, the Butte-Silver Bow Fire Department said.
Firefighters were at the scene for two and a half hours extinguishing the fire and making sure the area was safe.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
