Actor Isiah Whitlock Jr., recognized for his iconic role in the HBO series “The Wire,” has passed away at 71.
His manager confirmed that Whitlock died peacefully in New York City due to an unspecified illness.
Whitlock’s career in the entertainment industry spanned more than three decades. He appeared in several Spike Lee movies and popular TV shows such as “Veep” and “Law and Order.”
