
RICHLAND, Wash. – The American Red Cross announced that a new emergency shelter is opening at Central Church, located at 1124 Stevens Drive. The shelter will be available for residents who need shelter services amid the severe flooding in the area.
Benton County Emergency Services (BCES) announced the shelter will be ready to receive individuals and families at 5 p.m.
“The shelter will provide a safe place to stay for those impacted by current conditions,” BCES officials said. “If you or someone you know needs shelter assistance, please proceed to the location above once it opens.”
