Disturbance in Plymouth ends peacefully after suspect surrenders

PLYMOUTH, Wash. – Deputies had a busy weekend responding to various incidents, including a disturbance in Plymouth where a man assaulted family members and barricaded himself inside a trailer with a baseball bat.

Through prolonged phone conversations, deputies were able to de-escalate the situation, convincing the man to exit the trailer peacefully. He surrendered and was taken into custody without further incident.

In addition to this, deputies made several proactive traffic stops and contacts over the weekend, resulting in multiple warrant arrests and additional charges being filed.

Residents are advised to stay aware and safe in their communities.
