RICHLAND, Wash. – The City of Richland is hosting a community meeting on Thursday evening to share information with residents and business owners about the downtown loop project, an effort that will turn George Washington way and Jadwin Avenue into one-way streets by the end of 2027.
The meeting will be hosted on Thursday, November 13 at 6:00 p.m. in the Doris Roberts Gallery Room at the Richland Public Library.
The City of Richland said the meeting will address changes to local traffic patterns, additions to the downtown landscape and impacts on mobility and the economy.
“The downtown loop is a major investment into our city’s future and will transform how residents and visitors experience our downtown,” City Manager Jon Amundson said. “We look forward to connecting with residents at this community meeting, where they can see the plans up close and understand the impacts and benefits of the project.
A virtual meeting is planned for early 2026 for those who are unable to attend the in-person gathering.
