Crispy Cones brings unique soft serve treat to Tri-Cities

PASCO, Wash. – Crispy Cones has its grand opening today from noon until midnight in Pasco. The brand-new store had a VIP event on Thursday night, where customers lined up outside the store for a chance to get their hands on the unique treat.

Crispy Cones got its start on season 14 of Shark Tank, where they secured a deal with Barbara Corcoran to help launch their business. Now, in 2025, they have locations in 14 states.

The treat is already common in Eastern Europe, like the Czech Republic, where the founder of Crispy Cones came up with the idea. The ‘Crispy Cone’ is characterized by its soft and fresh dough cone, crafted daily in-house. That cone is then rolled in cinnamon sugar or other toppings, before being filled to the brim with soft serve ice cream, fruit and other concoctions.

Glenn and Vallari Royer now own Washington State’s first ever Crispy Cone, something that they’re both proud of and excited to share with the community.

Their grand opening starts Friday at 12:00 PM, and doors will remain open until midnight. A ribbon cutting ceremony is also planned for the coming weeks as well as plans to interact with the community at events, fundraisers and more.
