
KENNEWICK, Wash. – The Gesa Carousel of Dreams is gearing up for National Carousel Day on Friday, July 25.
To celebrate, the carousel will offer $10 unlimited ride wristbands and free otter pops for the first 200 visitors, according to a release.
Snow cones will also be available for purchase, and a raffle will feature prizes from local businesses.
The carousel, a 110-year-old Charles Carmel hand-carved masterpiece, will be open from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday. It features 44 horses, a WSU Cougar, a UW Husky, and three dragon chariot bench seats.
Attracting about 175,000 visitors each year, the Gesa Carousel has seen over 1.2 million riders since it opened.
