RICHLAND, Wash. – The Stevens Drive Reconstruction Project in Richland is now over halfway complete, with significant developments underway.
Starting at 6:00 a.m. on Friday, June 20, 2025, the city said in a release that the intersection of Stevens Drive and Swift Boulevard will close for reconstruction. This closure will last until 6:00 a.m. on Monday, June 23, 2025.
Access to Kadlec Medical Center will remain available through Swift Boulevard and Goethals Drive. Detour routes will be clearly marked for convenience.
This marks the first major rehabilitation of Stevens Drive in 20 years.
“We sincerely thank commuters and businesses along the corridor for their continued patience and support,” the city stated.
Despite ongoing construction, Stevens Drive remains open to two-way traffic, and all businesses along the route are accessible.
