Kennewick standoff resolved; wanted suspects surrender without incident

UPDATE: June 11 at 5:45 p.m.

Kennewick Police said the standoff in the 3700-block of W 4th Ave. ended peacefully as three wanted suspects surrendered to officers.

Due to multiple felony drug warrants and criminal histories, investigators said they deployed SWAT, K-9 units and drones to the scene.

The three suspects initially refused to leave the residence, but exited the home voluntarily and were taken into custody without any incidents, police said.

The roadway has since reopened for normal traffic.

KENNEWICK, Wash. – The Tri-Cities Regional SWAT Team, along with several regional agencies, are executing a search warrant on W 4th Ave between S Morain St and S Union St.

The public is urged to avoid the area if possible.
