PASCO, Wash. – A 45-year-old woman was hit and killed by a driver on Foster Wells Road near milepost 25 on March 31.
The driver, a 22-year-old from Richland, was driving a white 2025 Ram Promaster when the pedestrian was crossing the northbound lane. The driver hit the woman, who was pronounce dead at the scene.
The driver was not injured in the incident and was wearing a seatbelt.
There have been no charges filed against the driver. The vehicle sustained reportable damage but was driven from the scene.
The involvement of drugs or alcohol in this incident remains unknown.
