RICHLAND, Wash. – Art enthusiasts in the Tri-Cities have a vibrant opportunity to explore local talent at Richland’s Gallery at the Park.
The current exhibit features the works of Artworks Northwest, a group of local artists.
Jerry Lewis, Art Works Northwest’s Venue & Exhibition Coordinator, shared insights into the organization. “We support artists. We have about 60 artist members,” Lewis said.
The group organizes events such as the yearly Tour d’Art, an art walk where artists open their studios, and hosts monthly meetings called salons.
These meetings include a potluck and art showcases among members.
Artworks Northwest also runs a lecture series called “For Love of Art.”
The next lecture will take place on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the Richland Public Library. Nathan Robles will discuss the importance of art in the Tri-Cities.
For those interested in learning more about Artworks Northwest, Jerry suggested visiting their website at or searching for them on Facebook.
The Gallery at the Park continues to be a hub for showcasing local talent, offering a chance for the community to engage with the arts.
The Gallery at the Park in Richland offers an extensive collection of artwork from around 200 local and regional artists.
This gallery, originally part of a village library and newspaper office, has become a hub for art lovers in the area.
In 1964, the space was leased and transformed into an art-selling venue. About 10 years later, a display gallery and additional rooms for classes and storage were added to accommodate the growing art community.
The main room of the gallery features a diverse range of items for sale, including jewelry, paintings, ceramics, and glass.
Visitors can expect to see beautiful blown glass pieces among the varied works on display. Most artists contributing to the gallery are local, making it a prime spot for community members to support and appreciate regional talent.
Bob Allen, a representative from the gallery, mentioned that they are always on the lookout for volunteers. Information on how to volunteer and sign up is available on the gallery’s website.
