YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. – The Yakima County Sheriff’s Office is warning its county’s residents of a text scam.
Residents have reported getting a text from a “Lt. Martin” in regards to an “important matter.”
Those who receive the text should block, delete and report junk in their messaging app and report the text on the FTC website.
