
PASCO, Wash. – A single-car rollover on Pasco-Kahlotus Road serves as a reminder of the hidden dangers of icy roads, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO).
Sheriff’s Sergeant Scott Wright said the crash occurred at 9:01 a.m. February 20, when the driver, heading southbound towards Pasco, lost control after hitting an icy, shaded patch north of Locust Water Road.
The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, was trapped in the car until deputies arrived at 9:20 a.m.
The driver suffered minor injuries. The scene was cleared by 10:20 a.m.
