PASCO, Wash. – Tri-Cities Airport (PSC) has reached a new milestone, setting a passenger record for the second consecutive year.
In 2024, a total of 949,110 people traveled through PSC, surpassing the 2023 record by over 75,000 passengers, a PSC release said.
“This is an incredible achievement for both the Tri-Cities Airport and our region,” said Buck Taft, Tri-Cities Airport Director. “Breaking our passenger record for the second year in a row highlights the growing popularity of the Columbia Basin and the trust our travelers place in PSC.”
Some of the achievements PSC noted in its release include:
American Airlines launching a daily nonstop flight to Phoenix, later increasing to two daily flights in September. Avelo Airlines expanding its service to Hollywood-Burbank from two to four weekly flights in September. Alaska Airlines introducing nonstop service to Los Angeles.
Additionally, PSC said it recorded 478,016 boardings, marking a 9 percent increase from the previous year. December was the busiest month, with 49,343 boardings, setting another record for the airport.
