
KENNEWICK, Wash. – A crash on SR 395 in Kennewick injured four Washington State Department of Transportation workers this morning.
A 94-year-old man driving northbound near Yelm St. lost control of his vehicle and hit the concrete barrier on the left side before swerving across the southbound lanes and striking the workers, according to Washington State Patrol Trooper Daniel Mosqueda.
Two workers suffered minor injuries, while one sustained serious injuries but is expected to survive. The driver also sustained minor injuries.
Trooper Mosqueda indicated the driver likely experienced a medical issue leading to the accident.
