WASHINGTON, D.C. – An 18-year-old has been arrested at the U.S. Capitol after running toward the building with a shotgun and wearing a tactical vest.
According to Capitol police, the individual was armed with a loaded shotgun and carrying additional rounds. The suspect drove an SUV near the Capitol before exiting and heading towards the building.
No motive has been identified yet.
